FAIRGROUNDS HOSTS WEAPONS AND COLLECTIBLES SHOW

   The High Desert Events – Gun, Knife, Coin & Collectibles Show takes place Saturday and Sunday at the Mohave County Fairgrounds. It’s Kingman’s largest gun and collectibles show.    Firearms, ammunition, knives, military items, jewelry, art, post cards, old west memorabilia and much, much more. Public Show hours are Saturday 9:00am until 5:00pm and Sunday 9:00am until 3:30pm.    Admission is $7.00 or $10.00 for a 2-day pass. The Havasu Community Health Foundation and the Lake Havasu Parrot Head Club host a Sock Hop and Car Show from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m. on Friday, March 10. Festivities at the Refuge Golf Course & Country Club include a dance contest, best 50’s attire, 50/50 raffle, and silent and live auctions. The Havasu Stitchers are expected to display between 70 to 100 quilts to celebrate National Quilting Day, typically held on the third Saturday in March.
