  Come out and enjoy the fabulous Spring weather in Lake Havasu City for the Lake Havasu Yacht Club Opening Day Boat Parade on Saturday, April 8. The ceremony will start at 10am with Yacht Club members’ boats meeting in Thompson Bay and parading through the Bridgewater Channel to the London Bridge where a boat with the Yacht Club’s Commodore is waiting to salute the participants in the parade. Bullhead City is once again ready for another huge soccer tournament this weekend that is expected to have a significant impact on  the local economy and bring  talented youth soccer players and their families to the community. HAVASU BOAT SHOW INCLUDES CHILI COOK OFF INGREDIENT

The Lake Havasu Marine Association is inviting chili and salsa chefs to compete in the 5th Annual Lake Havasu Chili Cookoff during the 26th Annual Lake Havasu Boat Show. This year’s competition is offering a record $5,000+ in prize money and is a fully-sanctioned ICS chili cook-off with three categories consisting of true Texas red chili (no beans or fillers), chili verde, and salsa, all of which will be judged by a selected panel of judges.
