If You Would Like to Help Victims From the Willow Fire

River Cities United Way is accepting donations of bathroom supplies and gently used/outgrown clothing in all sizes from infant to adult. Staff is available 8 am to 4 pm Monday – Friday this week at 145 N. Lake Havasu Avenue at Fire Station #5 next to Sundance Mobile. Questions should be directed to Robert Starkey at (928) 855-6333 or Advantage Windshield & Glass will be collecting donations of food, water, clothing, paper goods, personal care products, bedding and household items and delivering to various organizations throughout the week. Anytime Fitness donating all “$5 to join” proceeds to fire victims with a $1,000 goal. Dillards is having a donation drive for the following: water; customers can bring water if they like; if they buy a bottle of water, Dillards will donate one also. Non-perishable food items and Pet food and supplies. Bring any of these items to Dillards and the donor will be entered in for a $500 Dillards fragrance basket. The Salvation Army is currently only accepting monetary donations to assist survivors in recovery efforts with specific needs they may have. Needs of the animals at the emergency shelter

The community has been asking what the Western Arizona Humane Society in Lake Havasu City and in Kingman are in need of for the animals at the emergency shelter that is set up at Mohave Valley Elementary school . We need bleach, spray bottles, paper towels, linens, dawn dish soap, cat litter and especially donations . We have staff from Lake Havasu City and Kingman working round the clock checking animals in and also taking care of them.
