Will Zillow Give You an Accurate Home Value?

Zillow’s a good place to start if you want to get a general estimate of what your home is worth. Zillow’s Zestimates give you a property value range, based on public records of the property’s: • physical attributes; • tax assessments; and • prior and current transaction data. The drawback? Zestimates are generated by a computer, not a person. Improvements and defects are not taken into consideration. It provides estimates for an expansive database of properties and gives a snapshot of the overall market. If you’re serious about selling, you’ll need more than a general estimate. Finding Your Missing Pet

Your dog got out of the fence and now you can’t find him. Now what? Hopefully, he’s wearing a collar and a tag with his name and your contact information on it. That way, if someone picks him up or he winds up at the shelter, he’ll be easily identified. Or, perhaps you had him microchipped. Why Go See Guardians of the Galaxy?

The latest entry in the Marvel Comics cinematic universe has been in theaters for weeks. So, if you haven’t seen it yet, why should you? Short answer? It’s easily the most fun & heartfelt of ANY film released this year.  And the spectacle is worthy of the largest, loudest screen you can find to see it on. Guardians of the Galaxy (Director:James Gunn) has become my favorite of the Marvel films. (Disclaimer: I’m a Marvel Fan-Boy from about 1975 – on) Avengers holds down a solid second-place position and both films are amazing. I’m a little more into GotG for two reasons: It’s funnier & it’s got a LOT of heart. Oh, and the soundtrack is right up my alley. So, three reasons… Avoiding spoilers as much as possible, this is the story of Peter Quill, aka Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) who we meet as a boy on Earth having the worst night of his life. And THEN he’s abducted by aliens. Cut to 20-ish years later and we check-in with Peter who has grown into a bit of a rogue and a thief and is in the middle of some Indiana Jones style derring-do. The connect with the other Marvel Comics films is that he’s after one of the “Infinity Stones” (A mcguffin that’s referenced to greater and lesser degrees in all the films). Chaos & Hilarity ensue. The cast is rounded...
