The Cedar Creek Fire has charred over 96-hundred acres.  Incident commanders say the fire lines are holding with over 600 firefighters battling the inferno.  Crews have been unable to gain on the fire with zero percent containment.  The challenge looms as 20 mile an hour winds whip through the area with an

excessive heat warning being issued to top it off  Highway 60 remains closed south of Show Low.  The Navajo County officials say Show Low, Pinetop-Lakeside and McNAry are still under pre-evacuation orders.
