An E-Coli outbreak involving Taylor Farm products with celery has been narrowed to an onion-celery mix. So far, 19 people have fallen ill in seven states from the celery based foods that’ve been sold at Costco, Walmart, Sam’s Club, Safeway and Albertsons. Jessica Rigler with the State Health

Department says, although there have been no reported E-coli cases in Arizona, “it’s always possible we could still get cases. However, it’s also possible the contamination is limited to a limited subset of those products.”

Rigler says the tainted products range from celery sticks, to diced celery and an asian salad blend. Most of the foods had a use-by date ranging from November 20th to December 8th.

If you have any of the targeted items, take them back to the store or throw them out.
