Bullhead City Police arrested Jeremiah Ellis Hassler, 25, for child abuse. On Wednesday, September 24th, a mother took her 3-year-old son to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center (WARMC) for treatment. Due to the serious nature of his injuries, the boy was transported to a Las Vegas, NV hospital. The boy suffered extreme swelling and bruising to his face and eye, plus bruising on other parts of his body. Detectives also located bruising on his jaw and cheek consistent with a hand print. A WARMC nurse notified police of a possible child abuse. The boy’s mother reported that her son received these injuries while in the care of her boyfriend, Jeremiah Hassler, this week. Hassler just recently moved in. When detectives interviewed Hassler about how the child suffered the injuries, his story was inconsistent with the types of injuries. Hassler was arrested and booked into the Kingman Jail.
