The four year-old boy who was killed in a scooter accident in Kingman Thursday has been identified as Dustyn Thomas Carley. Deputy Kingman police Chief Rusty Cooper said Carly was on a scooter and he emerged from two parked vehicles into the street where he was struck by an oncoming vehicle in the 2500 block of Georgia Avenue.

The boy was pronounced dead following transport to Kingman Regional Medical Center. Cooper said the driver of the vehicle was a 39 year-old man who lived in the neighborhood.

Cooper said impairment is not a suspected factor in the ongoing accident investigation.
