Kingman City council members will tour the Palo Christi Elementary school Wednesday afternoon. The historic property in downtown Kingman was shuttered a few years ago and presently sits empty for the most part.
The City is taking an interest in the possibility of acquiring the property and renovating the building for use as a City Hall.
Superintendent Roger Jacks said the Kingman Unified School District has not formally considered whether it would entertain a sale or lease of the property. Jacks said some legal input will be required before the District School Board addresses the matter at its April 12 meeting.
