Laughlin Kitchen Fire (1)No one was injured in a residential fire Monday night in Laughlin. Crews with the Clark County Fire Department were dispatched to the residence at 3700 block of South Pointe Circle in the Laughlin Estates neighborhood shortly after 7:30 p.m. Firefighters from Station 85 were the first to arrive and found smoke showing from the structure. Once they established command and entered the house, they discovered the fire had started in the kitchen. They managed to contain the flames to that area of the house. Officials have not released an estimate on the amount of damage that was caused by the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation. In addition to the two fire engines and one rescue unit from the Clark County Fire Department, additional resources were provided by the Bullhead City Fire Department, which is standard in most residential structure fire calls in Laughlin.
