Bullhead City Fire Department Clowns Ashes, Tiny and Sparkle have been busy delivering safety messages to the local elementary schools. As children are gearing up for summer, the BCFD fire safety clown show conveyed important messages covering bicycle safety and water safety, along with reminding children that matches and lighters are tools, not toys and playing with them can result in starting a “bad fire” such as a house fire or wildfire.

Every year thousands of fires are caused by children’s curiosity to play with matches and lighters. Our hope is to educate the children about these dangers and stop a tragedy from occurring.

The children are very receptive to the messages that are being taught in an entertaining and fun environment. Ashes, Tiny and Sparkle, ended the show reminding the kids to have a fun, but safe summer.
