Apparently a man wanted for murder in Colorado made a stop in Flagstaff Sunday, and he’s still on the run. Flagstaff Police Sergeant Margaret Bentzen says a woman who reported traveling with him called police from a hotel, reporting his whereabouts. When police arrived, Kenneth Ray Bastidos refused to pull over, and a pursuit was on.
Bentzen says he drove off heading for the east side of Flagstaff, blowing through red lights, even driving up on curbs at one point. D-P-S picked up the pursuit as he headed on Interstate 40, with the suspect eventually giving lawmen the slip in his 2014 White Toyota Corolla.
Bastidos is about 30 years old, five foot eight, 180 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He is considered armed and dangerous, so do not approach but call police.
