Crews from the Bullhead City and Clark County Fire Departments recently assisted the Department of Public Safety (DPS) with a series of water rescueexercises on the Colorado River.
The BCFD fireboat assisted transporting DPS crew members to a special platform that was created by BCFD personnel to simulate the rooftop of a submerged vehicle. DPS Crew members practiced a number of other rescue scenarios.
This type of training helps officials prepare for real emergencies.
