Being convicted of a public nuisance violation for refusing to move his conex box from his Kingman property is a bit of a sore subject for Pat McBrayer. Nonetheless, McBrayer is able to make light of his plight by jokingly referring to himself as the “conex convict”.
McBrayer’s battle with Kingman and other cargo box controversies around town have city officials reconsidering the applicable regulatory scheme. The Planning and Zoning Commission will be taking public input on these issues during a workshop later today.
Mcbrayer is encouraging public attendance and participation, hoping that others may not endure his experience. The workshop at city hall starts at 5:30 p.m.
