(Phoenix) Electric and gas companies will present their summer preparedness plans before the Arizona Corporation Commission Tuesday, April 25, at 10 a.m.

Many utilities are projecting higher demands this year and will show the Commission how they intend to meet that demand and respond to emergency outages. The utilities plans indicate their communications strategies and updates on projects that have been completed, or that are in the works which help ensure reliable service.

Arizona Public Service Company (APS), Tucson Electric Power Company, UNS Electric, Inc., Salt River Project (SRP), Transwestern Pipeline Company, LLC, and Kinder Morgan will all offer presentations and respond to questions. There will also be an opportunity for public comment.

The workshop can be viewed live at www.azcc.gov.
