A controversy involving regulation of cargo containers exposed in media coverage last week will be coming before the Kingman City Council Tuesday. The publicity involved allegations of inconsistent enforcement and favoritism in the enforcement arena.
Staff is asking the City Council if it wishes to initiate pursuit of a text amendment ending prohibition of cargo containers on C-2 zoned parcels. And the Council could meet in executive session to review City Manager John Dougherty’s performance in making an exception for one downtown property.
A number of other matters of public interest are scheduled to be addressed in the regular meeting of the Council that starts at 5:30 p.m.
