Kingman police report the arrest of relatives responsible for a recent spree of vehicle burglaries. Chief Deputy Rusty Cooper said William Rubio and his sister-in-law Markie Hanna, both 28, were taken into custody on March 18 and booked into jail for more than a dozen criminal offenses each.
“The arrests and charges have cleared a total of 17 vehicle burglaries reported since February,” Cooper said. “It is believed that Rubio and Hanna are responsible for additional crimes, however further investigation is required.”
Cooper said detectives located the suspects at a local motel after securing information about their identity and vehicle.
“Both admitted involvement in the crime spree,” Cooper said. “It was found that both were committing burglaries and thefts in support of their heroin addiction.”
