Mohave County, in conjunction with Cactus Asphalt, will be performing structural pavement resurfacing on approximately 7.77 miles total on Boundary Cone Road and Courtwright Road in connection with the County’s internationally recognized Capital Pavement Preservation Program. This project will install a pavement surface treatment known as Polymer Modified Asphalt Rubber (PMAR) followed by sweeping and the application of a fog seal.
As an added note of interest, all rubber used for this project will be recycled from Mohave County tires. Cactus Asphalt will begin work on May 10, 2016, and anticipates completion on or about May 12, 2016.
· Boundary Cone Road from Highway 95 to MP4, approximately 4 miles,
· Courtwright Road from Highway 95 to County Highway 1, approximately 3.77 miles.
Motorists traveling through the project area should expect delays of up to 30 minutes. Flagmen will be utilized to provide maintenance and protection of traffic through the work zone and maintain single-lane roadway operations.
