A beer run turns into a bloody, vicious assault.  Sergeant Derek Elmore with Silent Witness says police are looking for a couple who brutally attacked a security guard after they stole two packs of beer from a convenience store just after

Christmas. Elmore says the security guard witnessed the couple grab the beer and run to their car.  Elmore says when the security guard walked over to get the license plate number, the “male suspect strikes him several times in the face knocking him to the ground unconscious and while he’s already down on the ground, the female suspect strikes him again.”  The security guard suffered several face fractures and a broken jaw.

The male suspect is described as Hispanic, about five-ten, 200 pounds with large tattoos on the back of his neck.  The female suspect is described as Hispanic, about five-four and 190 pounds.  Anyone with information is asked to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
