Tempe police are on the hunt for two suspects who went on a crime spree overnight with a few of their friends.  Sergeant David Despain with Tempe police says several suspects committed at least three armed robberies last night beginning with a Whataburger in Phoenix.  Five suspects robbed the fast food restaurant at

gun point and then jumped a pedestrian and robbed him at gun point.  The five took off in a black Avenger when they decided to split up.  Two of the five suspects car-jacked a gray Nissan Maxima and took off.  A deputy with the Maricopa County sheriff’s Office spotted the black Avenger and a high speed chase ensued.  The suspects lost control of the car and crashed into a train and ended up barreling into a block wall.  The three suspects bailed from the car and ran.  Police caught up with the suspects a short time later and arrested them.  The two suspects who escaped in a stolen car are still on the run.
