This week, we highlight some of the top borderlands stories from the season in a special edition of Cronkite News. Here are a few of the featured headlines from our newscast:

Students enrolled in the DACA program fear the threat of deportation if the program gets repealed under the Trump administration. One ASU student shares her story of living in limbo.

A border fence in Naco, Sonora, which was home to a mural painted by students, was torn down and replaced with a new barrier. Cronkite News reporter Adriana De Alba was on the scene as the children took a final look at their artwork before it was demolished.

Some produce that is not making the cut for grocery chains in Arizona is no longer ending up in landfills. Reporter Nicole Gutierrez tells us how local communities are able to shop for produce at a lower cost.
