Arizona sports celebrities shed their winter beards to fight cancer.  A barbershop quartet serenades them all as Arizona
Diamondbacks President Derrick Hall, former players Luis Gonzalez and J.J. Putz
and others enjoyed an old-fashioned straight-razor shave and helped raise $50,000
for the new Dignity Health Cancer Center in downtown Phoenix.

Hall says that,
as a prostate cancer survivor, growing a beard over November and getting a
clean shave on December 1st was special.
Gonzalez says he is proud to help fund lifesaving research to fight a disease
that took his father and grandfather’s lives.
