Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Traissa Ann Ramus, 38, and Tania Ann Bishop, 49, both of Kingman, Wednesday (1/21) evening. Ramus was arrested for possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies, and possession of prescription only drugs, a misdemeanor. Bishop was arrested for possession of dangerous drugs, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies, and possession of prescription only drugs, a misdemeanor. Approximately 9:45 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 3000 block of Northern Avenue. Deputies contacted Ramus, the driver, and Bishop, the passenger. A consent search of Ramus’s purse revealed three pill bottles and a burnt spoon with white residue. Inside the pill bottles were prescription only pills, pills identified as dangerous drugs and marijuana residue. A consent search of Bishop’s purse revealed a syringe containing a yellowish liquid, a burnt spoon, a small plastic bag containing a white crystal substance and a pill bottle containing prescription only pills and pills identified as dangerous drugs. Ramus and Bishop were taken into custody without incident. They were transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
