Pinal County Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in the desert north of Stanfield.  Spokesman Mark Clark says the victim, who appeared to be Native American or Hispanic, was clothed and had no visible signs of trauma.  The unidentified woman was hidden under some shrubs in

a very rural area near farmland and had obviously been deceased for days.  However, he says there were no obvious signs of trauma so police are treating this as a suspicious death.  Clark says their top priority is to identify the victim which will hopefully lead them to the suspect.
