Kingman, Arizona – On Wednesday, December 17th, 2014, Dr. Geoffrey Cornelsen, M.D. will be speaking at KRMC’s monthly Lunch & Learn. His topic will be “Osteoarthritis in the Knees.” Dr. Cornelsen is an expert in the surgical and nonsurgical treatment of bones, joints, and ligaments. He is especially skilled in treating sports injuries, with expertise in minimally-invasive arthroscopic procedures for the knee, shoulder, hip, and ankle. He is also highly skilled in the latest techniques for joint replacement or partial-joint replacement in shoulders, knees, and hips. Additionally he performs reconstructive ligament and cartilage surgery. In describing his approach to patient care, Dr. Cornelsen states: “There can be different options for treating bone and joint problems, so it’s very important that I take whatever time is necessary to educate my patients so they can make well-informed choices.” He adds, “I hope people find me friendly and approachable so they feel comfortable asking questions and discussing their concerns.” Lunch & Learn features a different medical professional presenter each month, focusing on important healthcare topics. The seminars are free and held in the Del E. Webb Wellness Center Conference Rooms from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Participants bring their own lunch and KRMC provides a beverage and dessert.
