Big drama on night three of Arizona Delegates to the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia. High-powered speeches were heard from Former Tucson Congresswoman Gabbie Giffords, Congressman Ruben Gallego,

Veep candidate Tim Kaine, Vice President Joe Biden and President Barack Obama.  Giffords praised Hillary Clinton as the most qualified person for president and “strong women get things done.”  Tucson Delegate and former congressman Ron Barber succeeded Giffords after she was nearly killed in a mass shooting at a political event in Tucson.  Barber says Giffords speech was a powerful argument for common sense gun control measures.  Giffords was shot in the head by 22-year-old Jared Loughner who wrote about his plan to assassinate Giffords.  Loughner also shot and killed six people in the attack.  Congressman Ruben Gallego took aim at Donald Trump during his speech at the DNC calling him a “scam artist who is trying to pull off the ultimate scam by pretending to care about veterans.”
