Domestic violenceMohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Nate Troy Grimes, 47, of Desert Springs, early Friday (8/21) evening for assault per domestic violence, misdemeanor.  Thursday (8/13) evening, at about 10:06 p.m., deputies responded to a domestic violence report at a residence in the 400 block of North Desert Springs Lane.  Dispatch advised the reporting party is at a neighbor’s house.  Upon arrival, deputies contacted the reporting party, a 57-year-old female victim.  The victim said that Grimes, her boyfriend, were arguing and he pushed her from behind causing her to fall onto the floor.  The victim further said that Grimes kicked her while she was on the floor.  The victim advised that she injured her right arm and elbow.  Deputies observed a red mark and a cut on her elbow.  Beaver Dam Fire Department personnel responded and treated the victim.   Deputies attempted to contact Grimes at his residence without success.  The victim advised that Grimes truck was gone.  Friday (8/21) evening, at about 6:15 p.m., deputies contacted Grimes in the 400 block of North Desert Springs Lane.  Grimes advised that he did not push the victim.  Grimes further advised that the victim fell over a basket near the doorway.  Grimes was taken into custody without incident.  He was transported and booked into the Mesquite Jail.
