Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Dwayne Jeffrey Moore, 54, of Kingman, late Friday (2/13) evening for aggravated harassment per domestic violence, a felony, and failure to comply with court order per domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Approximately 10:50 p.m., deputies responded to a contempt of court report at a residence in the 4700 block of Thompson Way. Upon arrival, deputies contacted the reporting party, a 62-year-old female victim. The victim said that she has an order of protection against Moore, her ex-boyfriend. The victim reported that Moore left her several voices messages tonight. Moore called the victims phone as the deputy was listening to the saved voice messages. Moore hung up after his brief conversation with the deputy. Deputies confirmed the order of protection to be valid. At about 11:36 p.m., deputies contacted Moore at a residence in the 2300 block of Hearne Avenue. Deputies questioned Moore about calling the victim four times tonight. Moore said, because he loves her. Moore was taken into custody without incident. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
