On Tuesday, June 16 around 11:48 p.m., deputies responded to a domestic violence report at a residence in the 7100 block of East Ironwood Drive. Deputies were advised that Jones threw his girlfriends and child’s belongings inside and outside of the house and breaking some of the items. Deputies were further advised that the reporting party was at a friends’ house nearby.
Upon arrival, deputies observed clothing and furniture outside and a sliding glass door was shattered. Deputies determined Jones had left the residence. Deputies contacted the reporting party, a 21-year-old victim, at her friend’s house. The victim reported that Jones had been drinking and he became argumentative. The victim further reported that Jones started throwing things around and he told her to get out. The victim advised that she took the kids and left the house. Deputies responded back to their residence and entered the house.
Deputies observed the television on the floor with a broken screen, multiple windows were broken and several dishes smashed on the kitchen floor. Deputies attempted to locate Jones without success.
On Wednesday, June 17 around noon, Jones responded to the Sheriff’s Office to turn himself into authorities. Jones was taken into custody, transported and booked into the Mohave County jail without incident.
