The Arizona Department of Public Safety says a woman is lucky to be alive after a driver fled his burning vehicle following a high-speed hit-and-run crash on I-17. DPS Spokesman Bart Graves says a tow-truck driver saw the whole thing and, after checking on the victim, he radioed police who were able to track down and capture the suspect.

Graves says the suspect was tased and pepper sprayed while resisting arrest. Graves says impairment is suspected and the suspect will face a slew of felony charges.
