water-conservation-logoThe U.S. Bureau of Reclamation requires that Lake Havasu City update its Water Conservation Plan (WCP) every five years.  Part of this process includes a public comment period to address concerns.  The WCP consists of several sections on water supply and demand, water infrastructure and storage, water reuse, how future Colorado River Shortages may be locally addressed, and current and proposed water conservation projects and programs.

The Draft 2015 WCP is available for the next 30 days to review at www.havasuwatersavers.org .  Comments may be sent to Doyle Wilson, Water Resources Coordinator at wilsond@lhcaz.gov or to Mary Eidmann, Water Conservation Specialist at eidmannm@
