John Dee PageMohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested John Dee Page Jr., 35, of Kingman, Thursday (10/22) evening for drive by shooting, discharging a firearm at a structure, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of weapon by prohibited person, all felonies.


 On 10/20/2015 at 4:40 PM the Mohave County Sheriff Office responded to the 4600 block of Patsy Drive, Kingman, Arizona for a reported weapons offense.  Upon arrival to the area a male victim was contacted and gave the following statement.

The victim advised he was leaving his yard and was walking north on Patsy Drive when a vehicle came up behind him and tried to run him over.  The victim advised that the driver of the vehicle then made a U-turn and came back towards him.  The victim then advised that the driver of the vehicle who he identified as John Page raised a gun at him and began shooting at him.  The victim advised that he began to run.  The victim did could not say why Page was shooting at him.  The victim also picked John Page out of a line up.


On 10/22/2015 MCSO met with GIITEM (Members of the Gang & Immigration Intelligence Team Enforcement Mission) and advised them of the case.  Around 2:00 PM GIITEM was able to locate the suspect John Page at a residence in the 3200 block of Jewel Street in Kingman.  Contact was attempted with Page at that time and Page refused to exit the residence or communicate with Detectives from GIITEM and Deputies from MCSO who responded to the scene. 


After two hours of attempts to talk to Page on the telephone or respond to loud hales from the PA system and obtaining information that Page was armed the Mohave County Sheriff Office tactical operations unit was contacted and responded to the scene.  After 6 hours of attempting to get John Page out of the residence and getting no response entry was made into the residence and John Page was located hiding in the attic and taken into custody without further incident.  The suspect John Page and Law Enforcement personnel were uninjured. 


John Page was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
