MORRIS BOWIEMohave Area General Narcotic Enforcement Team (MAGNET) detectives arrested a local drug dealer on numerous drug related charges.

     Narcotic detectives had been investigating Morris Lee Bowie, 59, for several months after receiving information that he was selling methamphetamine in the Bullhead City area.

     On Tuesday, March 17th at 11:40 a.m., MAGNET detectives, with assistance from Bullhead City Police, executed a search warrant into Bowie’s residence in the 1600 block of Talc Road.

     During the search, police located numerous illegal items, including 10.41 grams of methamphetamine that was individually package for sale, five firearms, approximately 159 grams of marijuana, and a sales quantity of narcotic pills (morphine pills and methadone).  One of the baggies of meth was located in Bowie’s pocket.

     Bowie was arrested for possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of narcotic drugs for sale, possession of narcotic drugs, transport of narcotic drugs into the state of Arizona, two counts of misconduct with weapons (prohibited possessor and possession during a felony drug offense), possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

     He was booked into the Mohave County Jail in Kingman.
