download (3)Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Steven Paul Madrid, 24, and Terry Dean McGee, 46, both of Kingman on Friday (12/5) morning.  Madrid was arrested for possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies.  McGee was arrested for an outstanding warrant.  Approximately 2:00 am, deputies contacted Madrid and McGee in the 2300 block of Ames Avenue.  A record check showed McGee to have a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear issued by Kingman Municipal Court.  McGee was taken into custody without incident.  During this time, deputies observed Madrid looking inside a bag that he was carrying.  Deputies observed an electronic scale hanging from the side of bag.  A search of the bag revealed two small plastic bags, one containing a white crystal substance and the other containing a white residue.  A field test confirmed the substance to be methamphetamine.  Madrid was taken into custody without incident.  Madrid and McGee were transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
