Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Casey Joel Anderson, 37, of Kingman, early Sunday (1/3) afternoon for possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies. Approximately 12:00 p.m., deputies responded to an agency assist with Department of Child Safety at a residence in the 3600 block of Ryan Avenue. Upon arrival, deputies contacted the DCS employee and she advised that she was checking on the children. The DCS employee further said that the owner advised there was a domestic dispute at the residence. Deputies contacted the owner. The owner said that she has been trying to get Anderson, her son, and his girlfriend to move out. The owner further said that she called 911 because there was lots of screaming and yelling at her house. Deputies contacted Anderson’s girlfriend and she said Anderson and her were arguing earlier. Deputies contacted Anderson. A consent search of Anderson revealed a plastic bag containing a white crystal substance which field tested positive for methamphetamine. Anderson was taken into custody, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail without incident.
