Scott Wayne Bridges, 46, and Bob Earl Wilkerson Jr., 45, both of Kingman, were arrested by Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies on Tuesday, June 30.
Bridges was arrested on suspicion of possession of dangerous drugs, possession of narcotic drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies. Wilkerson was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant for failure to pay fines issued by Kingman Justice Court.
Around 8:50 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Thompson Avenue near Melody Street. Deputies contacted Bridges, the driver, and Wilkerson, the passenger. A records check showed Wilkerson to have an active warrant. Wilkerson was taken into custody without incident. During conversations with Bridges, he said he had a syringe in the vehicle.
A search of the vehicle revealed a plastic bag containing a white crystal substance, a syringe, a pipe with residue and a pill identified as a narcotic drug. Bridges was taken into custody without incident.
Both were transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
