Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Danielle Marie Bennett, 19, and Jorden Kyle Reynolds, 24, both of Kingman, Saturday (3/28) afternoon for possession of dangerous drugs, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies. Deputies observed a vehicle traveling with an expired registration. Approximately 10:15 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Benton Street and Lass Avenue. Deputies contacted Bennett, the driver, and Reynolds, the passenger. A computer check confirmed the registration expired in February. Bennett was unable to provide proof of insurance and registration. Deputies observed Reynolds shaking extremely. Deputies questioned Reynolds and he advised that he may have a warrant. Deputies had Reynolds exit the vehicle. Deputies observed a black and yellow case fell to the ground when Reynolds opened the car door. Deputies further observed the case broke open with two pipes with marijuana residue in plain view. Reynolds was taken into custody without incident. A search of Reynolds revealed a plastic bag containing marijuana and a plastic bag containing a white crystal substance. An inventory search of the vehicle revealed a plastic bag containing a white crystal substance, tin container containing marijuana and three pipes with residue. Bennett was taken into custody without incident. They were transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
