A suspected drunk driver takes a plunge into a Scottsdale canal.  Sergeant Kevin Watts with Scottsdale police says the driver blew past a stop sign and careened through a railing where he ended up in a canal.  Scottsdale Fire crews rescued the driver who was trapped inside the car.  The driver was taken to the hospital with

serious injuries and is expected to survive.  Impairment may have been a factor in the crash.  Four dive teams hooked up the car to a tow truck that pulled the car out after several hours.
