A 31-year-old woman is behind bars after leaving her two little kids in a hot car while drinking at a bar.  Emily Fromelt with Bullhead City Police says a Good Samaritan saw two young children ages five and 18-months-old sitting inside an unlocked car with the engine running and called police.  Officers arrived on

scene and discovered the car had overheated and the air conditioning was blowing hot air that left the baby and toddler sweating profusely.  Officers noted it was a scorching 91 degrees outside and the inside of the car was much hotter.  Officers found the mother, Jessie Anna Colwell, sitting in the bar drinking.  She was sitting in an area where she could not see her children. She smelled of strong alcohol and had been inside the bar for a bout a half hour.  Colwell was booked on two counts of endangerment and two counts of child abuse. The Department of Child Safety took custody of children.
