Services are scheduled next week for the late Pat Carlin Sr., a pillar of the education community in Kingman and beyond. After health struggles over the past year, Carlin passed away Monday at his home in Tucson.
Carlin was 84.
Carlin served as the first principle of Mohave High School in Bullhead City before he became an assistant superintendent of the school district. He retired after some 20 years as superintendent of the Kingman school district.
Carlin later served local and state community college boards. A public memorial service is scheduled at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 25 at the Elks Lodge in Kingman.
