Two young adults and three juveniles are in hot water for throwing eggs at moving vehicles, including a police unit. Investigation began when a sergeant reported that he thought his marked SUV police unit was struck by rocks while he was driving home after 1:00 a.m. on June 17.
It was discovered that the unit was actually decorated with eggs tossed by youngsters.
A responding officer stopped a vehicle in the area of Acoma Boulevard and Via Palma. Occupants of the vehicle, three juveniles, Eric Maserang and Samuel Schneider, both 18 were arrested after admissions that they had tossed eggs at two or three vehicles.
