Mohave County will put brand new voting equipment to work for the first time tomorrow. The new gear will have voters checking in by computer at the polling places for Arizona’s Presidential Preference Election.
Expenditures totaling about $800,000 will also have the county using new equipment that will count the ballots. Elections staff members said all worked well during test runs last week.
Elections Director Allen Tempert said the new equipment is more reliable and accurate than the outdated systems that have been replaced.
