A four year-old embezzlement case is ending in a plea agreement for a Kingman woman accused of stealing roughly $180,000 from her former employer. Linda Homan will be convicted of a theft charge under terms of the deal entered December 1. Prosecutor Rod Albright said Homan stole the money while she worked as manager for the property management division of Barbara Ricca Realty. He said Homan used a check kiting scheme to skim cash deposits during her former period of employment. Terms of the plea agreement guarantee that Homan, who has suffered severe health problems in recent years, will not go to jail. Homan will be placed on supervised probation for a number of years and ordered to make restitution in full when sentenced January 5.
