Ex NFL star Darren Sharper slammed by a federal judge who rejected his plea deal on a rape case.  Sharper pleaded guilty to rape charges in four states including Arizona, California, Nevada and Louisiana in exchange for 9 years in prison.  U.S. District Judge Jane Triche Milazzo told Sharper who appeared in

court Thursday that “the court cannot accept this plea agreement.”  The judge referred to a report filed by federal authorities that called for a sentence maximum of 15 to 20 years.   The federal indictment charged  the former Super Bowl champion with distributing the drugs commonly known as Xanax, Valium and Ambien with the intent to commit rape. The judge gave Sharper until March 3 to withdraw the guilty plea.
