Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Clint Michael Murray, 42, of Bullhead City, early Thursday (2/11) morning for DUI, DUI with a blood alcohol concentration over .08%, extreme DUI with a blood alcohol concentration over .15% and less than 20% and extreme DUI with a blood alcohol concentration over .20%, misdemeanors. Approximately 12:09 a.m., deputies responded to a single vehicle accident on Oatman Road at milepost 23. Upon arrival, deputies observed the vehicle off of the roadway. Deputies contacted a citizen and the citizen said that he discovered the vehicle off the roadway. Deputies approached the vehicle and observed the driver passed out behind the wheel. Deputies woke the driver up, later identified as Murray, and he had no idea where he was. Deputies smelled a strong odor of alcohol on Murray. Medical responded and medically cleared Murray. Murray refused to perform the field sobriety tests (FST’s) as requested by deputies. Murray was taken into custody and transported to the Mohave County District II Substation where an analysis revealed his blood alcohol concentration (BAC) to be .218%. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail without incident. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
