The fate of a Tucson Air National Guard pilot who crashed his F-16 remains unknown. The military aircraft went down late Wednesday night just five miles East of Douglas near a major gas line causing a fiery explosion.  According to Lacey L. Roberts, public affairs officer with the 162nd Wing Arizona Air Force Air National

Guard, the aircraft was on a night training mission when it went down.  The cochise County Sheriff’s Office set up a two-mile perimeter following the crash. Hazmat teams from surrounding areas are on scene.  The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the cause of the crash.
