The Phoenix Police Department is providing help to officers struggling with the death of their Brother in Blue. Following the tragic death of Officer David Glasser shot in the line of duty last week, Sergeant Jaime Rothschild says the employee Assistance Unit is helping officers cope with the sudden loss.  He says reminds

the public that police officers are not “machines” and have feelings, fear and pain just like everyone else when they lose one of their own. The special unit provided by the Phoenix police department is offering counseling services to all the officers and their families touched by Glasser’s death.  Glasser was shot and killed last week while responding to a burglary call.  He is survived by a wife and two young children.  Glasser will be laid to rest Thursday.
