A Chandler family of four jumped from a second story window to escape a raging house fire.  Battalion Fire Chief Keith Welch says the father woke up to the smell of smoke and rounded up the rest of the family.  The fire started on the first flood and the path to the front door was blocked by heavy smoke.  The family changed

their exit plan and went for an upstairs window where they jumped out the window and onto a roof where they shimmied down to the ground.  No one was inured from the fire or the jump.  Crews knocked out the fire that destroyed the interior of the house.  The cause of the fire is under investigation.
