As a dust storm approaches, a family escapes serious injury after their Ford Expedition rolled and slid down the highway before coming to rest on its wheels as it was headed southbound on Hwy-93 around Mile-Post 53.  GVFD Firefighter / Paramedics treated the four occupants of the single vehicle accident.  Captain Boyd Lewis stated all occupants were restrained, which he credits for the limited injuries.  Ultimately one person was transported and the mother signed refusals for herself and the other two minors who were in the back seat.  Firefighters worked as the dust storm passed, blocking out the last bits of sunlight before sunset.  Hwy-93 southbound was down to a single lane for approximately 90-minutes while DPS investigated the accident and had the vehicle towed off the highway.
