One man has died and a woman narrowly escapes with her life when their cars collide.  According to Fire Captain Aaron Ernsberger with the Phoenix Fire Department, two cars collided in a Phoenix neighborhood overnight and witnesses jumped into action.  A woman in her 30s narrowly escaped with her life
 

when someone pulled her out of a car just moments before the car erupted into flames.  Firefighters had to use “jaws of life” to extricate the three people in the other car.  The driver of the car, a man in his early 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.  An elderly woman and a ten-year-old boy were transported to a nearby trauma facility in serious condition.  The cause of the accident is under investigation.
