A fatal crash shut down Loop 202 at 32nd Street for several hours into morning drive.  Trooper Damon Cecil with the Department of Public Safety says a driver was speeding through a construction zone when he rammed into an SUV causing it to roll.  The passenger in the SUV was thrown from the car and killed.  The driver

of the speeding car walked away from the accident without any injuries, as well as the driver of the SUV.  Cecil says the passenger who was ejected was not wearing his seat belt.  He stresses the passenger could have survived the crash if he were buckled up.  The two drivers were wearing seat belts.  Speed was definitely a factor in the crash and an investigation is underway to determine whether alcohol also played a factor.
